Bilberries, or Vaccinium in general, represent a genus encompassing 450 species of berries. They are native to North America and East Asia. Bilberries are among the oldest plant on earth and have earned the celebrated name of “super food”.

Every 40 grams of fresh bilberries contain 3 grams of dietary fiber and 14 mg of vitamin C. In addition, they contain 15  subtypes of anthocyanin, vitamin A, vitamin E, carotenoid, potassium, and zinc.
