Collagen Type II / Chicken Sternal Cartilage Hydrolysate

Collagen Type II / Chicken Sternal Cartilage Hydrolysate

In the human body, type II collagen is primarily found in cartilage. Commercially available Type II collagen is often sourced from chicken sternal cartilage via patented hydrolysis technology. This raw material contains not only Type II collagen but also mucopolysaccharides such as chondroitin, hyaluronic acid, and glucosamine. Alternatively, supplementation can be done with undenatured Type II collagen. Scientific literature has confirmed that these ingredients can significantly improve mobility and effectively alleviate discomfort.

Chondroitin: A high-molecular-weight mucopolysaccharide composed of alternating units of galactosamin and glucuronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid: Also known as hyaluronan, it is essential for maintaining moisture, lubrication, and adhesion, making it an important substance for human physiology.

Glucosamine: Supplementing with glucosamine provides the nutritional raw materials required for the body’s repair processes.
