Fish Oil

Active Ingredients in Fish Oil

  • Omega-3: A type of polyunsaturated fatty acid that is considered an essential fatty acid. As the body cannot synthesize them, they must be obtained through diet. Naturally occurring sources of Omega-3 are relatively rare, mainly found in flaxseeds, walnuts, and fish oil.
  • EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid): Supplementing with EPA helps support the regulation of physiological functions. Research has also indicated its potential benefits for emotional balance.
  • DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid): An essential nutrient for cell viability, DHA provides protective support for the brain, nervous system, retina, and nerve cells.

Therefore, moderate supplementation with foods containing fish oil can help balance the body’s Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio, which can help maintain healthy bodily functions, enhance stamina, and provide nutritional support.
