Red Orange Extract
Moro red orange, also known as Moro blood orange, originated in the 19th century on the of Sicily, Italy. Its ripe flesh is characterized by a dark, ruby-like luster – the most vividly colored among all blood orange varieties. Moro red orange grows primarily in volcanic areas. Nourished by rich volcanic minerals and influenced by significant temperature variations, the Moro red orange synthesizes higher levels of anthocyanins and polyphenols. It is the red orange variety with the highest content and quality of anthocyanins available to date.
